DNS Pilot

TERMS · UPDATED OCTOBER 6, 2026

Clear scope.
Informed changes.

DNS Pilot is an independent beta service developed and operated by Jackson Alan Jesionowski (Jack Jay), the plugin publisher. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Namecheap or OpenAI.

Use accounts you control

Use this service only with domains and accounts you own or are authorized to manage. Do not use it to interfere with other people’s websites, email, accounts, or security.

Review changes

DNS changes can affect websites, email, and verification. Provide exact values from the service you are connecting. Review the preview and any warnings before authorizing a write. Keep your own backup for important domains. Existing authorization in your conversation may allow an AI assistant to proceed without asking again.

Service limits

The hosted beta is not open for account connections. Namecheap callback approval and connected-account validation remain incomplete. Hosted reads and writes are unavailable to users until that approval is complete. Changes through the local plugin’s provider connection depend on your AI client’s authorization controls.

DNS Pilot supports selected DNS record operations. It does not purchase or transfer domains, migrate nameservers, manage billing, or guarantee website availability or email delivery. Namecheap may omit some record types. A value replacement can require a delete followed by a save, with a temporary gap. Records may also change outside this service.

Availability and responsibility

The beta is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation or complete compatibility. You remain responsible for your domains and the changes you authorize. Namecheap, your AI client, and hosting providers have their own terms. These terms do not remove any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and ending use

We may update or suspend the service to fix defects, respond to abuse, or change the supported scope. Published updates will appear here. You may stop using the service and revoke access at any time. See the privacy notice for data handling and the support page for assistance.
